Don't get me wrong, I'm not obsessed with deers and cows... it's just that the last posts have happened to be so. I was reading the National Geographic in my hotel room in Jakarta, and was struck by how beautiful and other worldly everything and everyone looked. They are the Sámi people who follow the reindeers to live, mostly in northern Sweden.
Amazingly, they have most likely settled in 10,000 BC, and are apparently the only official indigenous people in the nordic countries.
