Big and beautiful

I bought these yesterday to cheer myself up for my eyelash curl place mistakenly rescheduling my appointment 3 times in a row (HK service can be so helpless!). It's hard to see in these photos, but these flowers are humangous, like the size of a big man's heart. I am trying to remember its name, but it's not tree peony is it (my dad suggested carnation... too funny)?

My mom later suggested Chinese peony. I think that's it!

Loving Aesop

I am loving Aesop and the shops they have here in Hong Kong. Everytime I go, they let me try generous heaps of different products, and I always love buying more than I need. Today, I bought this new type of exfoliating and aromatic hand soap with same type hand cream and parsley seed serum that I had tried the samples before. Love.

Try the one near SOHO. The shop people are the best there.

Sunday stroll around Tin Hau

After a nice brunch in SOHO, I strolled around Tin Hau which is just one station past Causeway Bay. It's so surprisingly quiet and very few people are walking around. A perfect place for a peaceful Sunday stroll, starting with a temple right in front of the metro stop.

As you walk towards Causeway Bay on Causeway Bay Road, you will reach an area with a couple of very nice bars and cafes which was an area that used to be (and still is) a car repair town. This coffee shop with black wall in particular, seemed to attract all the hipster Honkies. I also found an ice cream shop and a home made candy store that I will definitely try out next time.

School street looked quaint and lovely too.
