Rain Room at the MOMA

Have you seen the Rain Room already? It is apparently showing at the MOMA. If somebody goes, please take a photo. It seems to be 99% effective, that you actually don't get wet because there is a sensor that will avoid you getting hit by the rain. Would be nice to have one such room in your apartment.

Indian chai tea

I learned how to make Indian chai tea from my sister who's now learning Indian cooking. It takes some time to make, with all the smashing the spices and cooking the tea with milk for a long time. That's probably why it is an especially nice luxury and a divine way to spend Sunday morning...

Pure genius... my friend Reina's massage oil candle

I must say... this candle is pure genius. It's a jasmine perfumed candle which candle wax turns into massage oil (& without burning your skin! wait for just a few minutes after you blow out the candle and then apply the melted wax directly on your skin). The scent will stay on your skin throughout the day... mmm.

My perfumer friend Reina made this. Check out her stuff here, or I can arrange it if you want to try this (or just come to my place and try it on!).

Happy relaxing Sunday....

Strolling around Tai O Fishing Village on Lantau Island

This was another really nice discovery in Hong Kong. Tai O is a fishing village, which really seems to live on... well, fishery and other small businesses. It's a new side of Hong Kong that I discovered this weekend!

To get here, take the Orange Line Metro all the way to the end of Lantau Island and get off at the last stop Tung Chung station. From there take bus #11 to Tai O. Both rides are about 30 minutes each. Enjoy!

Pink grandma shoes

Perfect blend between ballerina shoes and man shoes... and it has heels! From Camper.

New find shoes that every fashion person has started wearing last year in Europe

Finally, a comfortable pair of flat shoes from Camper. I tried on so many shoes at the Camper shop in CWB in HK that half way through I knew I couldn't leave the shop without buying a pair (or two). Thanks to the shop person for wearing these and inspiring me. Now I know what the fuss is about this type of shoes (yes the cat shoes).
