Artistic bio market near Montparnasse

These were very artistically lined up veges, at a bio market near Montparnasse. Quite amazing that the locals can just shop here every weekend, and enjoy a nice brunch at home or at a park!

The reddest burger in Paris

Literally, this was the reddest burger I have ever seen and eaten, but it was very yummy. It seems like Paris is having a little American wave, with lots of nice burger and bagel shops popping up everywhere! Be aware of the long waiting time at Big Fernand although still worth it. But more shocking than anything was whenever did Parisians become so super friendly!?

Paris sweets

Why are they so gorgeous... We accidentally came across this very famous and historical sweet place which name I forgot but started with an S and is in Les Halles. The next day right before hopping on the train back to Frankfurt, I came back here again to pick up some eclair and other goodies for the train ride home. Mmmmm.

Nose in Paris

The shop Nose in Paris gives you recommendations for new fragrances, once you tell them your current perfume and likings. I only remembered the black bottled Acqua di Parma (it was Essenza) and the guys recommended me Royal Water by Creed among others. I stayed on for 15 minutes to experience the change in the scent over time and over a nice cup of coffee, and I really liked the perfume (and the shop!). Lovely start to my weekend trip to Paris...

Bonfire and fireworks on easter night

Apparently a ritual, there were humongous bonfires everywhere on easter night, followed by fireworks. Easter was such a nice holiday here, like a mini Christmas.
