Rhodes Old Town is a romantic and nicely preserved place to walk around (but be aware, dinner is an interestig experience with everyone trying to get you into their restaurants as nicely as possible). The archeological museum is one of the main feastures, and very impressive with everything from your school days textbook in front of you. But what I liked the most was the garden that is hidden past the museum cafe on the second floor, maybe because nobody was there, or maybe because every stone object lying around in the garden is actually "real" from 1500 to 2000 years ago.
