I couldn't resist posting this. My dear friend Hiroko saw this exhibit at the New York MOMA and somehow thought of me! What an honor. It's hilarious that MOMA is showing such a
jimi (meaning low key and unspectacular in Japanese, w/o being so rude) art work. It reminds of the lovely
Ernesto Neto but 1000000x
jimi... simply natto.
The explanation: the artist took woman's stockings and pinned it against the wall so it's like far apart from each other and it looks like a pinned bug or something.
