Best food ever in Greece

The aubergine salad and the greek salad have been a combination we never missed to add to our meals here. Who would have known aubergine is to be had everyday! These are from a nice restaurant called Johnny's, right by our beach (the 17-minute place from our hotel). Really, good, honest, Greek food. I must also say most places in Greece have extremely pleasant services (they say thank you for everything nice they do for you!).

Going down to our beach in western Rhodes

A romantic 17-minute path down to the beach from our lovely hotel.

Here we are!

Courageous British family on the beach

Cobble stones in Rhodes

I wonder where the practice came from to lay out round but pointy stones for the roads. It does not allow you to walk barefeet but is extremely interesting and beautiful.

Rhodes archeological museum

Rhodes Old Town is a romantic and nicely preserved place to walk around (but be aware, dinner is an interestig experience with everyone trying to get you into their restaurants as nicely as possible). The archeological museum is one of the main feastures, and very impressive with everything from your school days textbook in front of you. But what I liked the most was the garden that is hidden past the museum cafe on the second floor, maybe because nobody was there, or maybe because every stone object lying around in the garden is actually "real" from 1500 to 2000 years ago.

Currently waking up to this

As seen from the hotel room in Greece...
